North East Impact Foundation (NEIF) is a premier non-profit institutional body dedicated to driving holistic, enduring developmental transformation across the eight states of Northeast India: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
Operating at the critical convergence of public policy, interdisciplinary academic research, community leadership, and sustainable market integration, the Foundation designs regenerative programs tailored specifically to the unique socio-cultural and ecological fabric of the Eastern Himalayas.
Rather than importing disconnected frameworks, NEIF works directly from the grassroots up. We co-create solutions alongside forest-fringe communities, women-led handicraft collectives, smallholder farmers, and local youth innovators—ensuring traditional ecological wisdom is elevated, verified by institutional rigor, and articulated into state and national policy corridors.
